In the Archeology laboratory archaeological materials are processed as a result of the investigation of different projects that are developed in CIEP. Usually these correspond to lithic and bone material from sites in the Region that not only CIEP researchers study, but also their team of thesis students and practitioners. Currently, bone collagen extraction is also carried out to carry out radiocarbon dating and stable isotope studies, starches and microfossils are extracted from the edges of the lithic tools to know their potential functions and bone collections of wild fauna from the region in order to compare them with archaeological remains.
